SoundArt.NYC is a project about experiencing the qualities of sound. An Ensamble America project, SoundArt.NYC a 21st Century flexible acoustic- electronic Collaborative Ensemble, which explores musical trends and defines new paths of creativity using multi-stylistic, multi-instrumental and modern production techniques. SoundArt.NYC combines analog and digital synthesizers, iPads and Computer interfaces, combining Acoustic World Music and Classical traditional and Period Instruments with different incarnations of early and recent technologies. SoundArt.NYC creates a singular interface between the human and the electronic aspects of music in the 21st century and its development in todays diverse musical world. From a simple electronic device and acoustic instrument to Electronic Chamber Music to Electro-Symphonic compositions with Multimedia visual displays.
